Devon County Council is responsible for maintaining the roads and pathways in Bridford.
Gritting
In winter the roads in Bridford are not gritted by Devon County Council and a local team of volunteers are co-ordinated by the Bridford snow warden. If you would like to volunteer to help with gritting then drop the snow warden an email and subscribe to the snowteam mailing list.
Public Transport
There are buses from Bridford to both Exeter and Newton Abbot stopping in Christow, Doddiscombsleigh, Dunchideock and Ide. The timetable is available from Traveline.
